From No Website to Double the Bookings — How We Built GRD Tax & Bookkeeping Inc.'s Online Presence from Scratch

When Davinder and Vishal from GRD Tax & Bookkeeping Inc. reached out to us, they had a clear problem: a legitimate, growing accounting business with zero online presence. No website, no way for potential clients to find them, and no way to build trust before a first call.

The Challenge

GRD Tax & Bookkeeping is a Kelowna-based bookkeeping and tax company serving small to mid-sized Canadian businesses. They do great work — bookkeeping, payroll, tax filing, and more — but without a website, they were relying entirely on word of mouth. Good for referrals, tough for growth.

They needed something that looked professional, built trust immediately, and made it dead simple for potential clients to book a consultation.

What We Built

We designed and developed a full website from the ground up using Next.js — fast, SEO-optimized, and built to convert.

A few things we were intentional about:

• Clear messaging up front. The homepage communicates exactly who they serve, what they do, and why they're different — no fluff.
• A strong "What We Don't Do" section. This was actually one of our favourite decisions. Being upfront about who they aren't the right fit for builds immediate credibility with the clients who are.
• Frictionless booking flow. Every section drives toward one action: book a consultation.
• Mobile-first design. Most of their potential clients are small business owners searching on their phones. The site had to feel just as sharp on mobile as on desktop.
• Compliance-forward. We added a CPA disclaimer and made sure the language across the site was legally sound — important for any financial services business.

The Result

The site launched April 1st, 2025. Since then, GRD Tax & Bookkeeping has doubled their bookings — and we've moved into an ongoing partnership to keep the site growing alongside the business.
